Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician for injection molding equipment in Phoenix, AZ. The role travels to customer sites to install, commission, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade presses and related equipment.

You will read schematics, train customers and staff, and document service activities. Candidates need 5+ years hands-on experience with injection molding machinery and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, or commissioning injection molding machinery.
• Advanced knowledge of the plastics injection molding process from start to finish.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls-related issues on injection molding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade injection molding presses at customer sites.
• Perform installation, setup, commissioning, and startup of injection molding machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls issues.
• Perform equipment repairs, adjustments, upgrades, and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot injection molding equipment and diagnose machine performance and operating issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Provide technical support and equipment training to customers and internal staff.
• Document field service activities, repairs, maintenance, and equipment issues.
