Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all facets of Injection Molding machines, PET Fiber Extrusion Lines, and Assembly lines. Troubleshoot equipment and repair machines.

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automation systems. Perform troubleshooting and repairs on automation systems.

  • Complete work orders related to machine repairs and/or preventative maintenance, and perform preventative maintenance on machines as scheduled.

  • Conduct system testing and calibration.

  • Reduce downtime of machines to support production demand.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

  • Change over on some equipment to other products.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to work one of our current openings - 8-Hour (10 pm-6 am) night shift, OR a 12-Hour (6 pm-6 am) rotating night shift (one week M/TU/SAT/SUN; next week W/TH/F).

  • Experience in injection molding, assembly, and automation repair required. Intermediate knowledge of automation systems and components.

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.

  • Experienced in electrical, process, pneumatic, and automation, with a base PLC knowledge / troubleshooting. Mechanical aptitude with ability to read mechanic and pneumatic drawings.

  • Knowledge of auxiliary equipment - hydraulics, mold temperature controllers, hot runner controllers, sprue pickers, robots. Mold setup experience.

  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.

  • Ability to work independently on moderately complex tasks.

  • Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights.
