Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a production associate to inspect, cut, trim, and pack pipe fittings produced on injection molding lines. You will report to the Production Supervisor and help maintain quality and efficiency while upholding safety standards in a fast-paced factory setting.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, and ability to read English; manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and comprehend sufficient English to follow work instructions.
• Basic mathematical skills and counting ability.
• Able to solve problems with reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, cut, trim, and pack pipe fittings produced by injection molding.
• Report to Production Supervisor; follow directions from Injection Molding Manager when supervisor unavailable.
• Maintain 5S standards; keep work area clean and organized.
• Identify and document quality defects (e.g., short shots, weld lines, defects).
• Assist with changeovers and ensure proper line start-up and efficiency.
• Perform duties with minimum supervision and comply with safety policies.
