Job summary

Express Pros of West Seneca is partnering with a Lancaster, NY area employer to hire a Rubber Injection Mold Operator. The role runs 2nd shift and pays $20 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, disability coverages, paid holidays and PTO offered.

You will load materials, set temperatures and cycle times, inspect parts, record data, and support safety standards. Responsibilities include operating molding machines, trimming flash, maintaining quality, and performing routine

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or injection molding experience is an asset.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production schedules.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Good attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers (if required).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate rubber injection molding machines according to established procedures.
• Load raw rubber materials into molding equipment.
• Set machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cycle times as directed.
• Remove finished molded parts from machines.
• Trim excess material (flash) from molded products.
• Inspect parts for defects, dimensional accuracy, and overall quality.
• Record production data, quality checks, and machine performance.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Report machine malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
• Follow all company safety policies, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Meet daily production quotas while minimizing waste.
