Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an undergraduate engineering intern to join the Injection Device Development team. This role provides exposure to commercial development activities for AbbVie’s device portfolio, including prefabricated syringes, autoinjectors, and body-delivery systems, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements.

You will work with cross-functional teams, developing engineering specifications, timelines, and lab-based activities while applying mathematics, mechanics, and physics

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in university and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Must be enrolled for at least one semester after the internship.
• Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial development activities related to AbbVie’s Injection Device Portfolio (prefilled syringes, autoinjectors, on-body delivery systems).
• Involvement in initiative-based process improvement, development of engineering specifications, technical timelines and lab-based activities.
