Job summary

HomeWell Care Services AR174 in Gentry, Arkansas is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients with daily living activities and companionship. The role offers a flexible schedule with potential full-time hours and pay at $12.00 per hour.

You will assist with personal care tasks, meal prep, and light housekeeping, while delivering reliable, empathetic care. We emphasize training and development, weekly pay with holiday pay, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1,000 hours of long-term care with geriatric or chronically ill persons.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must be physically able to perform caregiver duties and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• One on one assistance with non-medical activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, dressing).
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.

Care Professional Responsibilities:

• One on one assistance with hands- on non-medical activities of daily living including bathing, toileting, dressing


• Provide companionship and conversation


• Meal preparation and mediation reminders


• Light housekeeping and laundry services

Qualifications and Skills:

• Prefer 1,000 hours of long-term care with geriatric or chronically ill persons


• Exceptions to this requirement are for recently licensed Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Personal Care Aid (PCA),


• caring for a family member or persons who will only be providing companionability and housekeeping services.


• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position.


• Must have available reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.


• Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by state) and a drug screen.


• This role is classified as a safety-sensitive position and subject to applicable state and federal regulations.
