Overview

Gpac is seeking an Ingredient Sales Manager for an international ingredients company we are working with. This role would be 100% remote with travel (approx. 50%) and would prefer someone near an airport in the Western and Midwest or Eastern US region.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new business relationships with companies that would buy additive ingredients from the company as their supplier for their finished products (ingredients would be sweetener additives or supplemental type of ingredients being sold to companies in food/beverage/nutraceuticals).
  • Sell B2B to businesses that create products like energy drink brands, dietary foods, supplements, or similar.
  • Call on manufacturers or distributors to sell ingredient products and manage relationships within assigned territories.
  • Support contracts, negotiations, and cost analysis as part of the sales process.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry or pet food industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 7+ years of experience in ingredient/industrial sales – national account sales experience of 3+ years
  • Experience with calling on manufacturers or distributors to sell ingredient products
  • Experience/understanding with contract negotiations and cost analysis
Compensation & Benefits

This role would have a base salary (120k-150k) with commission structure and other benefits. This role does not provide health insurance or 401k.
