Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CA driver's license.
• Pre-employment screening including drug test, background check, and physical.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work under pressure.
• Experience operating machinery and sit-down forklift.

Responsibilities

• Follow testing protocols for incoming ingredients (sieve, Perten, moisture).
• Proficiency with plant infrastructure for ingredient storage.
• Operate yard-dog and railcar mover; spot trailers/railcars after training.
• Follow sampling protocols for incoming ingredients.
• Scale trucks in and out per policy.
• Fill propane cylinders as needed.
• Maintain accurate ingredient inventories and communicate shortages.
• Perform batching operations when required.
• Adhere to SOPs, GMPs, and HACCP; wear PPE; overtime is required.
• Keep work area clean and maintain sanitation schedule.
• Report safety hazards to supervisor and participate in safety programs.
