About the Role

Our client, a fast-growing technology firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join their dynamic, remote-first team. This role is critical in designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable web applications and services. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, working across the entire software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of modern software architecture, a passion for writing clean and efficient code, and a collaborative spirit, thriving in an agile environment. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere while working closely with distributed teams to deliver innovative solutions. We are looking for a problem-solver who is eager to tackle complex challenges and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software across the full stack.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Write high-quality, well-documented, and testable code in various programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java).
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy discussions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on full-stack development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, and HTML/CSS.
• Extensive experience with back-end languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django/Flask, Java/Spring).
• Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in distributed teams.
• Proficiency in English communication.
