Join us at UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial as a Pharmacy Technician, Inpatient - Full-Time, Rotating.

This role is within our Inpatient Pharmacy at Ingalls Memorial Hospital, where you'll work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to medication preparation, processing orders, refilling automated dispensing cabinets, and ensuring timely medication delivery to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately fill medication orders using automated systems.
• Prepare parenteral medications and IV admixtures, including chemotherapy.
• Process medication stock requests and prepackage medications.
• Order, receive, and stock pharmacy supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and compliance in all pharmacy areas, adhering to USP standards.
• Assist in the preparation, labeling, and dispensing of pharmaceuticals.
• Support inventory and quality assurance activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid pharmacy technician license and certification in Illinois.
• Preferred: hospital experience as a licensed pharmacy technician.

• Shift: Rotating, including weekends, primarily scheduled Monday-Friday at the Harvey campus.
