Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee venous access and infusion therapy within the acute care setting. You will assess patients, select access methods, and ensure safety and quality.

You will supervise nursing staff, mentor new hires, conduct performance reviews, and lead quality improvement initiatives while maintaining regulatory compliance. Requires RN license, BLS, and associates degree; bachelor's degree preferred; night shift position in a full-time

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
1+ charge nurse or relevant leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform venous access procedures within RN scope and ensure patient safety.
Administer and monitor infusion therapy, adjust care plans as needed.
Assess patient conditions to determine venous access methods and address complications.
Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
Monitor nursing staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct appraisals.
Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and efficiency.
Mentor and precept new staff; support professional development.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies.
