Job summary

Shady Grove Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, seeks an experienced Unit Support Coordinator for the Infusion Department. You will support departmental operations, handle physician orders, and maintain data/records, contributing to a safe, organized work environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and hospital/clinical exposure, with strong communication and PC skills; 40-hour work week, typically 8am-4pm, weekdays. Training in data entry and scheduling are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months hospital or doctor’s office experience.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge required.
• Proficient in PC, Internet and email.

Responsibilities

• Support departmental operations with effective communications and a clean, safe work environment.
• Maintain data and related records; perform clerical and other support duties as directed.
• Process physician orders and facilitate communication within the Infusion Department.
