Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Interventional Therapy Infusion Center travel assignment in Saint Johnsbury Center, Vermont. Start date 09/16/2026 for 13 weeks, guaranteed 40 hours per week, with an infusion-focused role in a rural hospital setting.

You will provide infusion therapies, coordinate care, document in the EHR, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow. Requires active VT license, BSN, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Active Vermont RN license or multi-state compact.
• BSN required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of two years RN experience; one year acute care experience preferred.
• Infusion center and port experience required.
• Graduate of an approved RN school of nursing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced infusion center and coordinate clinical and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver infusion therapy per hospital and INS standards; monitor patient responses.
• Manage infusion center operations: scheduling, prior authorizations, and clinical order reviews; communicate with providers, payers, and care teams.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans; document teaching efforts to support informed care.
• Maintain documentation in the EHR, medication administration logs, and transfusion records per hospital policies.
• Support port care and infusion-related procedures; participate in care coordination for 15–20 visits per day.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and treatment planning.
