Job summary

Helms Home Care is seeking registered nurses to provide infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes in Manassas, VA. This PRN position offers an hourly pay range and the flexibility to schedule visits as needed.

Qualified candidates must have an active RN license with at least 1 year of infusion therapy or catheter care experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to collaborate with scheduling staff. Multiple visits per week are expected.

Qualifications

• Current RN license valid to practice.
• Minimum 1 year infusion therapy or catheter care experience.
• Reliable transportation and access to printer/scanner/fax machine.
• Must be able to communicate promptly with scheduling personnel.
• Expect to do 2 visits per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws.
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication.
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly.
