Job summary

Helms Home Care is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide in-home infusion therapy for patients in Virginia. You will perform catheter access, vitals, and medication administration with compassionate, personalized care.

Required: RN license and at least 1 year in infusion therapy or catheter maintenance; reliable transportation is a must. Mileage reimbursement and other benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license with competence in infusion therapy.
• Minimum 1 year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Provide infusion therapy nursing services in patients' homes.
• Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/CVC).
• Take vitals and conduct assessments; monitor patient condition.
• Administer medications (antibiotics, TPN, IVIG and other specialty meds).
• Document visits through electronic charting promptly.
