Job summary

Community Health Care, Inc. in Moline, IL, is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Advanced Therapies Clinic. This on-site, full-time position supports infusion therapy patients and a dedicated medical team.

The hourly range is $16–$26, with a salary range noted as $17–$25/hr in the description. The successful candidate will have graduated from an accredited Medical Assisting program; NCCT or NCMA certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program.
• NCCT or NCMA certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, vital signs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and EKGs.
• Assist with treatments and medications as directed by medical professionals and within scope of practice.
• Coordinate appointments, referrals, insurance verification, and prior authorizations.
• Respond to patient calls and assist with follow-up care and prescription refill requests.
• Maintain accurate patient records and help keep the clinic organized and running smoothly.
