Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift in Wisconsin. The role emphasizes chemotherapy and immunotherapy care, IV therapy, and vascular access management.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with duties including EMR documentation, patient education, and collaboration with the healthcare team. Licensure and certifications must be current and up to date.

Qualifications

• Active WI RN license or Compact RN license (must obtain WI license within 90 days of start if on Compact)
• BLS certification required or must be obtained within 1 month of hire
• ACLS required or must be obtained within 1 year of hire
• ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Card required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provides infusion nursing care including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologic agents, and blood products
• Full-time day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm
• Manages vascular access devices including ports, PICC lines, and central lines
• Documents treatment administration and patient responses in electronic medical records
• Assess patient condition before, during, and after treatments and monitor for adverse reactions
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other IV/injectable meds per hazardous drug handling protocols
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management
• Collaborate with providers, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care
• Provide emotional support to patients throughout the treatment process
