Job summary

Vivo Infusion is seeking a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse for per diem coverage in Grand Rapids and Grandville, MI. You will provide infusion care, calculate and mix medications, and perform IV insertions while monitoring patients throughout treatment.

Qualifications include valid RN licensure, bachelor's degree in nursing, and 1 year IV experience; ONC/CPR/BLS; ICU/ED experience preferred. Excellent communication is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state professional nurse licensure.
• Graduate of accredited Nursing Associates/Bachelor’s degree, required.
• ONC Certified, Preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification, required.
• Minimum of 1yr IV experience, required.
• Certification in CRNI (Certified RN Infusion), preferred.
• ICU/ED experience, preferred.
• Must possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice.
• Calculate, mix, and administer prescription medications daily.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after infusion treatment.
• Document and report on patient assessments to medical staff and other healthcare team members.
• Skillful and accurate IV insertion.
• Communicate with providers via Telehealth as needed.
• Assist in the implementation of CQI improvement activities.
• Perform admission and ongoing assessments on patients.
