Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-infusion assessments, verify orders, and ensure lab parameters are met.
• Monitor patients throughout infusions and post-infusion for complications.
• Initiate and maintain peripheral IV access.
• Access and manage central lines, including PICC lines and implanted ports.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion treatments and side effects; central line care.
• Reinforce adherence to therapy and follow-up care plans.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
