Job summary

Willamette Valley Cancer Institute and Research Center (WVCI) in Corvallis, OR is seeking a compassionate Infusion RN for a temporary, full-time infusion team position. The role involves direct patient care in a fast-paced oncology setting with emphasis on IV therapy and patient education.

Strong clinical judgment and teamwork are essential; oncology experience is preferred. The general pay scale is $42.00 - $69.46 with actual hiring rates determined by experience and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required.
• Current Oregon RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Oncology experience preferred; OCN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, hydration, blood products and other prescribed therapies under supervision.
• Assess patients before, during and after treatment and respond to changes.
• Perform venipuncture, access ports, and manage central venous access devices.
• Review labs and treatment plans; coordinate care with providers.
