Job summary

Willamette Valley Cancer Institute and Research Center in Corvallis, OR is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the infusion team. The role focuses on chemotherapy and infusion therapies, with strong IV skills and oncology experience preferred.

Benefits include medical/dental/vision, life insurance and a 401(k). Three 8-hour shifts per week, with potential float to other clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing from an accredited program; BSN strongly preferred.
• Three years nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license with Oregon State Board; OCN preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Continuing education requirements must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Administers chemotherapy, hydration and other meds under physician supervision.
• Assists physician with exams and procedures as needed.
• Maintains patient flow in the infusion space for efficient care.
• Assesses condition changes, labs, x-rays and drug reactions and acts accordingly.
• Documents nursing assessments and medication administration in patient chart.
