Job summary

Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion to provide specialized care for patients receiving IV therapies, including chemotherapy and biological agents. You will monitor patients, administer medications, and follow safety protocols.

The role requires strong assessment, documentation, and patient education skills, plus collaboration with physicians, pharmacists, and other team members. Full-time, daytime schedule; no weekends.

Qualifications

• Active WI RN license is required.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire.
• ACLS required or obtained within 1 year of hire.
• ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Card or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition before, during, and after treatments.
• Review medical history, labs, and treatment orders.
• Monitor vital signs and patient response during treatment.
• Administer IV/ injectable medications including chemotherapy.
• Access and manage ports, PICC lines, and central lines.
• Follow protocols for hazardous drug handling.
• Ensure accurate dosage calculations and infusion rates.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and side effects.
• Document treatment and patient responses in EMRs.
• Collaborate with providers, pharmacists, and healthcare team.
