Job summary

SSM Health in Oklahoma City is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care across assigned caseloads. You will work with an interprofessional team, manage vascular access, and provide patient education.

Strong EHR skills and adherence to evidence-based practice are essential. The role requires nursing licensure, a commitment to safety, and collaboration with multiple departments to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• Experience not required is acceptable for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Supports the care of the patient and assesses and addresses the needs of the patient/family.
• Works collaboratively with other interprofessional team members to resolve patient/family problems.
• Collaborates with other departments to establish the patient/family treatment plan.
• Implements, evaluates and updates the plan of care and patient education regarding vascular access.
• Utilizes equipment such as point of care ultrasound and IV pumps.
• Accesses the Electronic Health Record to review treatment plans and document care.
• Provides care in alignment with evidence-based practice and patient age-specific needs.
• Maintains alertness and safety in all activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
