Qualifikationen

• Current RN license in the state of Michigan.
• Hands-on experience with peripheral IV starts.
• Experience administering IV infusion therapy and injections.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct nursing care and patient education for individuals receiving infusion treatments.
• Assess and monitor patients’ conditions and needs, promptly communicating any changes to the appropriate clinician.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to support quality patient care.
• Demonstrate clinical competence and follow established nursing standards and protocols.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EMR and maintain appropriate clinical records.
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge needs with the healthcare team and clinical providers.
• Conduct post-treatment follow-up calls to monitor patient progress and address concerns.
• Maintain, use, and care for dialysis catheters utilized for infusion treatments, following established protocols.
