Job summary
Palmetto Infusion in West Columbia, SC seeks a Registered Nurse Clinician to provide medically prescribed infusion therapy to patients with acute and chronic conditions. Schedule is PRN, Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00, with Saturdays as needed, serving West Columbia and traveling to other clinics as needed.
The role requires a nursing degree, active RN license, 1 year of infusion experience, and BLS. Proficiency in Outlook/Word/Excel and teamwork are essential to support high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical infusion setting.
- BLS or obtain upon hire.
- Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environments while under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team in an ambulatory infusion clinic.
- Assess and care for patients using the nursing process.
- Provide comprehensive, compassionate nursing care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease and drug therapies.
- Comply with HIPAA and ACHC regulations.
- Participate in on-call rotation for AIC nurses.
- Travel to outlying clinics as needed.
- Maintain knowledge through ongoing education.
- Perform nursing duties per state nurse practice act and company policies.
