Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse for Hollings Clinics to deliver individualized patient care under general supervision. Responsibilities include applying nursing process to achieve outcomes and collaborating with the health care team for safe, effective care.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years RN experience, SC or compact state licensure, and BLS. BSN preferred; chemotherapy/biotherapy certification required if independently handling chemotherapy.

Qualifications

• RN with at least two years of work experience.
• Current RN licensure by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required if independently double-checking chemotherapy.
• BSN degree preferred if RN hired before July 1, 2013 must enroll in BSN program within two years and obtain BSN within four years.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients using nursing process.
• Deliver safe and effective care and collaborate with the health care team to achieve desired outcomes.

Education

Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred

RN licensure in SC or compact state
