Join to apply for the Infusion Pharmacy Technician - Regional Campus Float role at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

Infusion Pharmacy Technicians are an integral part of the Pharmacy Department in the mission to support patient care and research. Our technicians prepare complex preparations to treat cancer in a state-of-the-art clean room compliant with USP standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Sterile compounding of hazardous/non-hazardous commercial and investigational medications.
  2. Participates in continual process improvement workflows.
  3. Inventory management and medication tracking.
  4. Performs regulatory and quality control tasks.
Qualifications
  1. High school graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy or related field program.
  2. Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy Registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Intern.
  3. National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
  4. Prior work experience as a pharmacy technician required.
  5. Availability to work a rotating schedule.
