Qualifications

• High school diploma or current enrollment in an accredited entry-level degree program for Pharmacy or related field.
• Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy Registration as a Pharmacy Technician and National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT). If ExCPT, PTCB must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Fills medication orders according to policy, including complex preparations.
• Performs and documents quality control steps for safety and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains the Pharmacy inventory with stocking, rotation, and par-level assessments.
• Performs sterile and non-sterile compounding per USP guidelines and policies.
• Provides training and orientation to staff and may cross-cover other locations/areas.
• Coordinates sterile compounding operations and supports automated dispensing cabinets.
