Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Pharmacy Technician to support licensed pharmacists in a busy home infusion setting in Georgia. You will assist with medication preparation, dispensing, and equipment maintenance while supporting patients and inventory workflows.

We value attention to detail, strong customer service, and the ability to perform basic calculations. This role requires a High School diploma and completion of internal training within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Able to perform basic and intermediate level mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests per policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Assist with maintaining equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing; report defects.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information for materials, supplies, and prescriptions.
• Help ensure a positive patient experience by addressing basic questions and requests.
• Schedule routine patient deliveries and manage inventory data entry.
