JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I - Infusion Services for Cancer Care Westwood.

This entry level position will assist in accurate medication filling and record keeping to ensure timely delivery of medications, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include preparing medications, stocking ADS machines, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Entry level role; no prior experience required.
• Preferred: High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Prepares medications for dispensing: after passing an initial competency, independently prepares basic sterile compounds with accuracy.
• Distributes medications and stock items: accurately pulls medications for stocking in ADS machines; accurately stocks medications in ADS machines; maintains distribution records.
• Maintains Pharmacy Inventory: restocks inventory in appropriate quantities; ensures rotation of stock; pulls outdates; receives/unpacks drug orders with records.
• Operates pharmacy computer systems: uses basic computer programs to accomplish daily tasks.
• Compliance and recordkeeping: follows policies; completes required documentation to meet standards.
• Patient Care: provides courteous, professional service to patients, caregivers, and staff.
• Medication Safety: uses barcode scanning and double-checks; reports discrepancies promptly.
• Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and/or technical competencies of the assigned unit.
