Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to coordinate, lead, and direct daily operations within the pharmacy department at the South Lake Union Campus.

You will train and schedule technicians, participate in policy development, and communicate with the leadership team. Requires WA state tech certification, 3 years experience, and strong communication; benefits include medical, dental, retirement, tuition reimbursement, and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Washington state pharmacy technician certification.
• 3 years pharmacy technician experience.
• Able to communicate verbally in person, on the phone, and in writing in a clear, concise and professional manner.
• Able to perform basic pharmaceutical calculations.
• Ability to use a mouse, navigate computer programs, enter data into computer systems accurately and efficiently.
• Preferred: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred: Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
• Preferred: Experience with electronic medical records.

This is a Full Time role that will work primarily Monday thru Friday but may include occasional weekends at of our South Lake Union Campus.

Pre Employment Drug Screening

As a condition of employment Fred Hutch conducts pre-employment drug testing for this pharmacy role. All offers of employment in the pharmacy department are conditional on the applicant successfully completing and passing a drug test in accordance with the Fred Hutch policy.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $36.85 to $55.26 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.

Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.
