Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for full-time daytime shifts in Winston-Salem, NC. You will assist pharmacists in preparing and labeling medications, manage inventory, and support patient records with accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma (GED acceptable) and a preference for Pharmacy Technician certification and NC registration within 30 days. A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certificate or Diploma in Pharmacy Technology preferred.
• One-year pharmacy experience preferred.
• PTCB/NHA certification (CPhT) within 18 months or students in ACPE accredited program.
• North Carolina Board of Pharmacy registration within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist in preparation and distribution of medications.
• Select, prepare, and label medications including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
• Assist with medication distribution tasks and inventory control.
• Handle phone calls and route messages with proper etiquette.
• Document medication admission histories and data entry for records.
