Job summary

Amerita is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Compounding to join our Pharmacy team. The role reports to the Pharmacy Manager and involves preparing sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical compounds in a home infusion setting.

The successful candidate will have an approved Pharmacy Technician training, state license, and preferably 1–3 years of aseptic preparation experience. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work with a team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Pharmacy Technician training program; IV certification preferred.
• Active state Pharmacy Technician license.
• 1–3 years of home care or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience with aseptic preparation of infusion pharmaceuticals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sterile preparation scheduling with Pharmacist.
• Perform calculations for product preparation.
• Compound sterile and non-sterile mixtures per USP standards.
• Maintain clean room and equipment per policy and USP 797/800.
