Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed R.Ph. in good standing with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy.
• Three years of clinical experience; at least one year infusion therapy.
• Experience supervising pharmacy support personnel preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with staff, physicians and customers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Basic computer proficiency and Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription orders, labels, and compounding records.
• Prepare sterile preparations using aseptic technique.
• Perform quality control and performance improvement tasks as directed.
• Review physician orders and patient medication profiles.
• Coordinate care with nursing agencies and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise pharmacy support personnel in compounding and labeling of products.
• Maintain documentation of care and drug prescriptions per policy.
