Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure to practice in North Carolina.
• Oncology experience preferred; proficiency in IV therapy, bone marrow, spinal procedures, thoracenteses, paracenteses and phlebotomy is preferred.
• Oncology certification preferred; BLS required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Identify expected outcomes for patients' individualized treatment plans.
• Implement identified treatment plans and coordinate all aspects of care delivery.
• Provide education and counseling to patient and family members on health needs, care activities, and medications.
• Meet clinical needs of oncology and infusion patients using specialized knowledge.
• Document pertinent clinical information and support appropriate level of service.
