Job summary
HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami is seeking an experienced RN Infusion Oncology to deliver direct patient care in oncology infusion settings, following policies and procedures. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for adults undergoing chemotherapy and related therapies.
The role requires Florida RN license, BLS/CPR certification, chemotherapy provider credential, and minimum 1 year oncology/infusion nursing experience; strong communication and computer skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Licensed registered nurse in Florida or compact licensure.
- BLS or BCLS certification required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and spoken.
- Oncology/Infusion nursing experience preferred.
- Current chemotherapy provider credential.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, report changes.
- Perform procedures as ordered by medical provider.
- Document care in the patient record promptly and thoroughly.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
- Maintain knowledge of oncology medications, procedures and equipment.
