Job summary

Metro Infectious Disease Consultants in Southfield, MI seeks a licensed Nurse Practitioner to supervise and administer infusion therapy at the clinic. This role emphasizes patient care, IV management, and coordination within a large practice.

Schedule: Every other Saturday (26 Saturdays/year). The APRN will oversee infusion services, ensure safety standards, and participate in interprofessional communication with the facility team.

Qualifications

• Licensed APRN with active credentials.
• Infusion therapy experience required or preferred.
• Experience with chemotherapy is preferred but not required.
• Vaccinations up to date per facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Place and maintain peripheral IV catheters for infusion therapy.
• Prepare medications for IV administration as ordered.
• Administer IV therapy and manage pump alarms.
• Document infusion charts and patient messages in EMR.
• Address patients' questions within scope of mid-level provider.
• Monitor safety of environment and equipment.
• Collaborate with facility staff and cover clinics as needed.
