Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or an alternate infusion suite. You will ensure patient safety under a physician’s plan of care and work under supervision of a designated supervisor.

Responsibilities include implementing nursing plans, administering medications, educating patients and families, and coordinating discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Licensure to operate a motor vehicle with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments.
• Organizes and participates in direct patient care and administers medications.
• Reassesses patient status and adjusts plan of care as needed.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s for safety and compliance.
• Communicates with clinical team to ensure continuity of care.
• Completes documentation for billing and patient care records.
