Job summary

Always Compassionate Health seeks experienced RNs to join our Home Infusion Nursing Team, delivering infusion therapies in patients’ homes across NYC and Long Island. You will perform PICC/port care, assess patients, and coordinate with clinical teams to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements include NY RN license, 3+ years infusion nursing, and BLS. Travel between patient homes is required; lifting up to 50 lbs is expected. Flexible scheduling and competitive pay offered.

Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license.
• Minimum 3 years infusion nursing experience in home care, hospital, or outpatient.
• Competence with portable IV pumps and venous access.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Ability to travel between patient homes across NYC boroughs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver infusion therapies in patients’ homes (antibiotics, IV fluids, biologics, TPN/PPN, IVIG, blood products).
• Perform PICC line and port care, dressing changes, and access/de-access of implanted ports and Broviac lines.
• Conduct patient assessments, document findings, and coordinate with infusion pharmacy and clinical teams.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy administration, side-effect monitoring, and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EMR.
• Participate in ongoing clinical training and skills validation.
