Job summary

Insight Global's healthcare client is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join its outpatient infusion team, delivering safe, patient-centered care to oncology patients in a fast-paced clinic.

The role involves administering IV infusions (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hydration), performing patient assessments, establishing venous access, educating patients, and documenting care in the EMR. RN license and at least 2 years' oncology/infusion experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience; oncology/infusion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV infusions including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and hydration per orders.
• Perform assessments before, during, and after infusion; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Establish and maintain venous access, including peripheral IVs and central lines.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and potential side effects.
• Document all nursing care and patient responses in the EMR in real time.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, pharmacists and clinic staff to coordinate care.
• Maintain a clean, compliant infusion area following safety and infection-control standards.
• Participate in emergency response procedures and apply high-level nursing judgment.

Our healthcare client is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join its outpatient infusion team. This role is responsible for safely administering infusion therapies while delivering exceptional, patient-centered care to oncology patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer IV infusions including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, hydration, and supportive medications per physician orders and established protocols
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after infusion treatments, monitoring for adverse reactions and responding appropriately
• Establish and maintain venous access, including peripheral IV insertions and care of central lines/ports
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, potential side effects, and post-infusion care
• Accurately document all nursing care, medications, and patient responses in the EMR in real time
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and clinic staff to coordinate safe and effective care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant infusion area following safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Participate in emergency response procedures and provide high-level nursing judgment when patient conditions change

Must have at least 2 years of RN experience (preferably oncology/infusion experience) - pay starting at $43/hr
