• Clearly and accurately documents pertinent information in the patient's medical record.
• Completes timely and ongoing patient assessments and responses to treatments.
• Works closely with APRNs and Doctors to ensure appropriate treatment plans.
• Oversees triage responsibilities when scheduled.
• Delivers teachings to patients on various subjects and medication procedures.
• Administers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, iron infusions, and growth factor support.

We are seeking a full‑time Oncology Nurse for Eastern CT Hematology and Oncology located in Norwich, CT.

Responsibilities Include

• Clearly and accurately documents pertinent information in the patient's medical record. Consistently demonstrates effective documentation practices and develops strategies to ensure complete documentation of patient care.
• Completes timely and ongoing patient assessments and responses to treatments serving as a key participant on the treatment team.
• Works closely with APRNs and Doctors to ensure appropriate and prescribed treatment plans are followed.
• Oversees triage responsibilities when scheduled.
• Delivers teachings to patients on a variety of different subject matters and medication procedures.
• Administers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, intravenous gamma globulin, iron infusions and growth factor support.
