Job summary

IVX Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a consistent part-time schedule at our Shawnee infusion center. Fridays are the core days, with additional shifts possible across Kansas City-area centers.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, infusion therapies, and care coordination in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate holds an NP license (RN as required), board certification (AANP/ANCC), and BLS with PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Active NP license; RN license where required by state
• Board certification with AANP or ANCC
• BLS required; PALS preferred
• Experience in ambulatory infusion center, outpatient clinic, or similar setting is a plus
• FNP preferred for adult and pediatric care
• Strong IV/infusion therapy skills and medication management
• Proficient in clinical documentation and HIPAA/regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on-site and via supervision while administering infusions and injections
• Conduct patient assessments and document SOAP notes; monitor treatment responses
• Educate and support patients and families on treatment expectations and side effects
• Ensure compliance and quality in EHR records; maintain HIPAA/OSHA standards
• Optimize clinical workflows and assist in chart preparation and treatment planning
• Collaborate with referring providers and cross-functional teams to improve care coordination
• Assist in inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence
• Demonstrate flexibility working across multiple facilities within the market
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and organizational goals
