Infusion Homecare Registered Nurse (RN) Per-Diem - Putnam/Northern Westchester

Overview

Join Always Compassionate Health, a leading Licensed Home Care Services Agency dedicated to providing high-quality community home-based services with compassion and innovation. We are seeking experienced home infusion RNs for cases in Putnam, Dutchess, and Northern Westchester.

Responsibilities

1. Initiate patient care during visits, perform follow-ups, and precept new nurses.
2. Partner with the Infusion Intake Team for seamless infusion care initiation.
3. Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and manage infusion therapies, including PIV, PICC, Mid & Central line care, and implanted port access.
4. Educate patients and families on therapy administration and ensure patient safety.
5. Collaborate with healthcare teams and document clinical information electronically.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of full-time RN experience in home care infusion, hospital, or clinic.
• Infusion therapy experience is mandatory; supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, nursing policies, and clinical documentation.
• Ability to interpret medical documents and work within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Requirements

• NYS RN license and registration.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Up-to-date medical clearance, vaccinations, and TB testing.
• Valid government IDs, references, malpractice insurance, and reliable transportation.

Compensation and Hours

Starting at $50/hour, with cases paying $60-$150+ based on care. Minimum 10 hours/week for home visits.
