Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Home Infusion program. The RN develops patient care plans, directs safe administration of medications in home or alternate sites, and educates patients and caregivers.

You will coordinate discharge, provide IV site care, assist with phlebotomy as ordered, and mentor staff. This role requires MA nursing licensure, BLS, and infusion experience; CRNI/ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
• Flexibility with hours to provide support evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Current BLS certification.
• 2 years of Infusion related experience required.
• Valid Driver’s license & auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs for acceptance onto home infusion services.
• Educates patient & caregiver on administration techniques.
• Coordinates discharge activities and prepares discharge plans.
• Administers or supervises administration of medications and IV care as ordered.
• Maintains accurate listing of medications, supplements & diagnoses.
• Trains & mentors staff and participates in on-call rotation.
