Job summary

Medix Infusion is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to float between our Ft Worth Alliance, Ft Worth City View, Arlington North Richland Hills, and Weatherford locations. You will advocate for patients, coordinate infusion therapy, and collaborate with Intake, Scheduling, Pharmacy, and Clinical teams to ensure a high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with 1-3 years of hands-on clinical experience.
• Valid nursing license with credentials and in good standing.
• Experience in IV therapy or infusion specialty is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patients and collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient experience.
• Ensure timely and effective communication between departments and healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families about infusion procedures, potential side effects, and adherence to treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Research and obtain additional data, consulting with referring offices, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Managers, and Medical Directors when necessary.
• Adhere to established clinical protocols and guidelines to ensure safety and effectiveness of infusion therapy.
• Serve as a resource to non-clinical staff within the Patient Services Department.
• Attend departmental meetings and in-services and assist with orientation and training of staff.
• Demonstrate courteous, compassionate, and professional behavior at all times.
