Job summary

Medix Infusion is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our San Marcos, TX team. You will advocate for and support patients, coordinating infusion therapy and ensuring a positive patient experience alongside Intake, Scheduling, Pharmacy, and Clinical teams.

The role emphasizes compassionate, high-quality care with collaboration across departments and adherence to infusion protocols. Qualified candidates will have an active RN license and IV therapy experience; this full-time position

Qualifications

Active RN license with 1-3 years of hands-on clinical experience.
Valid nursing license with all necessary credentials and certifications in good standing.
Previous experience in IV therapy or infusion specialty is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Advocate for patients, addressing concerns and collaborating with the healthcare team to enhance patient experience.
Ensure timely and effective communication between departments and healthcare professionals.
Educate patients and families about infusion therapy procedures, potential side effects, and treatment adherence.
Maintain accurate patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Adhere to clinical protocols and guidelines to ensure safety and effectiveness of infusion therapy.
Serve as a resource to non-clinical staff within the Patient Services Department.
