Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NAC) for a .75 FTE position onsite at South Lake Union. The NAC supports patient flow, provides essential patient care, and upholds HIPAA and privacy standards while assisting with procedures and transport.

The role requires WA Nursing Assistant certification, HS diploma, and current BLS; weekend shifts may be required, with pay range $28.36–$40.37 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Nursing Assistant certification in Washington.
• Current BLS/CPR or equivalent; renewal every 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow and clinic operations to maintain smooth patient care.
• Provide patient care activities including vital signs, ECG, ADLs, and patient transport.
• Operate patient lift equipment safely and assist with procedures as directed.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance in all interactions.
