OU Health in Oklahoma City seeks an experienced RN for the Infusion Center to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. This PRN role requires delivering medications, initiating IV therapies, and coordinating with physicians to support treatment plans.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license for Oklahoma (or compact) with 1+ year of patient-care experience and a current BLS certification.

Qualifikationen

• Education: ADN or BSN in nursing from an accredited program.
• Experience: 1+ year of patient care as an RN.
• License: Current RN license in Oklahoma or a valid compact license (eNLC).
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required on hire.

Aufgaben

• Administers medications as prescribed and monitors patient responses.
• Initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products.
• Documents patient responses and updates physician orders as needed.
• Assists physicians with examinations and minor procedures.
• Observes patients' physiological data and intervenes when necessary.
• Delivers patient care safely, addresses complaints, and coordinates care plans.
• Maintains professional certification and participates in mentorship and training.
• Delegates tasks to clinical support staff and supports a collaborative care team.
