Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide skilled patient care using the nursing process and coordinate care with other departments. You will maintain patient rights and confidentiality while delivering compassionate services in alignment with Mercy Service Standards.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure; BLS and other unit-specific certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Active RN license in hiring state or compact licensure; must meet state board requirements.
• Ability to meet physical requirements: lift 50 pounds, prolonged standing and walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, squatting.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and preserves patient rights and confidentiality.
• Works in alignment with Mercy mission, values and service standards.

Education
