Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infusion Center at DePaul Hospital in Missouri. You will assess and implement patient care, collaborate with the care team, and manage vascular access using IV therapies and ultrasound guidance.

Responsibilities include updating the care plan, documenting in the EHR, and ensuring safety across age-specific patient needs. A routine day shift and no on-call requirements support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• No experience required.
• Current BLS HCP and RN licensure for Illinois or Missouri with onco-related certs encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Supports the patient and addresses needs of patient/family.
• Collaborates with interprofessional team to resolve problems.
• Develops and updates the care plan including vascular access.
• Performs IV insertion and central line access when needed.
• Uses point-of-care ultrasound and IV pumps as appropriate.
• Interprets policies and labs to manage patient needs safely.
• Documents care in EHR and communicates changes in condition.
• Delivers evidence-based nursing care for age-specific needs.
• Maintains alertness and safety; performs other duties.
